Deployments
Your own GPU cluster, live in 90 days.*
For startups, family offices, and investors.
Just exploring?

*Generally what we see for most smaller deployments: 60-90 days.
Who it’s for
Startups who want to own, not rent, compute.
Family offices who want to participate in AI infrastructure directly.
High-net-worth individuals who’ve made excess capital gains.
You own it. We run it.
| Asset | Owns it | Runs it |
|---|---|---|
| A hotel | The owner | Marriott or Hilton |
| A building | The landlord | A property manager |
| Your GPU cluster | You | American Compute |
We guide. You decide.
Step 1 · One call
Pick your setup
Hardware, data centers, and costs, side by side. You choose.
Step 2 · 60-90 days typically
We build it
Procurement, system integration, and colocation, all in your name.
Step 3 · Ongoing
We run it
Monitoring, repairs, and warranty claims, on an annual contract.
What it costs
Paid to vendors, in your name
Hardware
Servers and networking, plus shipping and property insurance. Paid to the vendor.
Colocation
Space, power, and cooling, usually on a 3-year contract. Paid to the data center.
Paid to us
Setup fee
A percentage of project cost, $25K minimum, in cash. Half upfront, half on live deployment.
Management fee
Monthly, $1K minimum, on an annual contract. Startups: equity can replace it.
Example: one B200 server (8 GPUs)
- Hardware, shipping, etc.
- About $600K
- Data center vendor
- About $150K a year on a 3-year contract, plus about $25K setup
- Our setup fee
- $25K
- Our management fee
- $1K a month
Illustrative. Your quotes set the real numbers, and you can pay the vendor and data center directly.
Don’t want to pay for the hardware all at once?
- Put in half yourself, and we can usually introduce a lender for the other half.
- Lenders will want to see you have cash or funding on-hand for 1.5x the hardware cost. For the server above: you put in $300K, a lender covers $300K, and you show you have $900K in cash.

Managed deployment questions
- Who is this for?
- Startups that want to own their compute rather than rent it, family offices that want to hold AI infrastructure directly, and individuals investing their own capital.
- What do I own?
- Everything: the servers, the networking, and the contracts with the hardware vendor and the data center. We run it for you, like a property manager runs a building.
- What does it cost?
- The hardware and colocation, paid to the vendor and the data center. Then our setup fee, a percentage of project cost with a $25K minimum (half upfront, half on live deployment), and a monthly management fee, $1K minimum, on an annual contract.
- How fast is it?
- Generally, most smaller deployments can go live in 60-90 days. Hardware lead times and data center space set the pace.
- Can I pay the vendors directly?
- Yes. You can pay the hardware vendor, the data center, and the integrator yourself. Our fees are billed separately.
- Can I finance the hardware?
- Possibly. GPU Lenders introduces projects to lending partners, and every credit decision is theirs. Without a customer contract, expect to put in more cash.
- Can I sell the hardware later?
- Yes, it’s yours. When the time comes, we can help with resale and remarketing.
Who you’re trusting with your cluster.
Managed deployments and GPU Lenders are programs of American Compute, Inc., a San Francisco company. American Compute sources vetted data center compute deals for funders. Insurance solutions for credit, collateral, and operational risks provide downside protection. We work with private credit funds, equipment finance lenders, and the operators they finance.
That work is why we can run a cluster for you. We have supported more than $600 million in GPU financing across North America, Asia, and Europe. Our research draws on more than 600,000 data points on hardware pricing and depreciation, and is read at Bank of America, Apollo, and Macquarie.
